In 2024, Presto fully sunsetted its previous tabletop payment and ordering business for the restaurant industry, focusing on scaling its drive-thru Voice AI product. This shift represents not just a technology change and an organizational focus but also a shift in Presto’s mission: to automate QSR drive-thru ordering with powerful Voice AI to enhance operations and the customer experience. This new business shift demanded a brand refresh to reflect its new approach more accurately.

However, as Presto transitioned to AI-powered Voice solutions, it was crucial to retain the brand equity accumulated over 15 years while updating the logo to reflect the new direction. The facelift involved streamlining the font and evolving the Presto stars into magical AI-related stars, signaling the shift to Voice AI technology and the highlighting that the convergence between humans and AI can often seem celestial or magical. This thoughtful redesign ensures that Presto’s legacy and future are both represented in the logo.

The previous color palette, consisting primarily of dark tones punctuated by bright accents, matched the technologic of Presto’s hardware solutions. The previous Presto website was burdened with excessive information, making it difficult for visitors to quickly locate the information they sought.
